Monday, March 4 2019 - Jacksonville Invitational


The boys competed at the Jacksonville Invitational at Illinois College on Saturday and performed exceptionally well.  For the second consecutive year the boys won the team title.  Full scores are as follows:

In addition, the 4x800 meter relay team broke the old meet record of 8:38.85 set by Illini West in 2017 by running 8:35.49
 
Michael Scott also broke the Plains indoor school record in the 400 meters.  His time of 53.06 bested Taylor Ray's mark of 53.74 set in 2013.
 
Personal Records (PRs) from the meet include: (new mark first, old mark second; 55 hurdle times were converted to 60 times.)
