Monday, October 29 2012The season will continue one more week for the boys cross country team, as they placed 4th at the Elmwood Sectional on Saturday, and they will be the first ever boys cross country team to compete at the state finals.
In addition, each of the top 7 broke 18 minutes, which is another first for Plains Cross Country.
The lone individual medal winner was Daniel Plunkett, who finished 4th.
The team that qualified consisted of Daniel Plunkett, Tyler Johnson, David Plunkett, Mitch Johnson, Connor Riddle, Adam Ely, and Seth Owens.
The girls team wrapped up their season at Elmwood, finishing at a respectable 12th place.
