The boys team placed an impressive 1st place finish out of a field of 33 teams at the Charleston Invite. Impressive individual efforts include Bjorn Adden with a high jump of 6'3 (good enough for 2nd place; the highest finish of the day), a long jump of 20'7.75" which placed 3rd, and a 55 hurdle time of 8.22 seconds to place 4th. Matt Utterback had a big PR of 2 inches in the high jump to jump 6'2 and secure 4th place, while Caleb Harney also had a big PR in the 55 hurdles with a time of 8.24 seconds, which was good enough for 5th. Dan Plunkett placed 5th in the 1600 with a time of 4:38.04, which took over 4 seconds off his previous indoor school record. The 4x200 relay of Taylor Ray, Caleb Harney, Bjorn Adden, and Bryce Anderson finished 6th, the 4x800 of Mitch Johnson, Tyler Johnson, David Plunkett, and Daniel Plunkett finished in 4th, and the 4x400 of Caleb Harney, Bryce Anderson, Mitch Johnson, and Taylor Ray placed 3rd to secure the team title for Plains.
