Conference Champions!

CONFERENCE RESULTS

The boys and girls competed at the conference meet yesterday and had outstanding results.

The boys took home the conference title as a team, their 3rd in 4 years.

Individual medalists include conference champion Tyler Johnson, 5th place finisher David Plunkett, and 7th place finisher Adam Ely.

On the girls side, there were not enough healthy runners to field a full team, but those that did ran did fantastic.

Emily Higginson set a PR by 2:11, running 23:01.

Michelle Hedlund ran 23:06, nearly 2 full minutes faster than last year at this time.

FAIRBURY-PRAIRIE CENTRAL RESULTS

The boys and girls competed at the Hawk Invite at Fairbury on Saturday.  The boys placed 4th in a talented field.

Tyler Johnson won the meet, setting a new school record in the process by running 15:05.9 on the 3 mile course.
