Sectional Results

The boys and girls team gave a valiant effort Saturday, but fell just short of qualifying for the IHSA state meet.  The girls placed 18th and the boys placed 6th, just 2 points shy of qualifying for the state meet.  Tyler Johnson won his second consecutive sectional championship and secured a spot in the IHSA State Meet.

It was a very cold and windy meet, but despite the conditions the following athletes were able to PR or run faster than this time last year:

Emily Higginson: 22:37 (Old PR 23:01)

Michelle Hedlund: 23:25 (25:05 last year)

Maddie Brown: 27:52 (Old PR 28:20)
